We’re excited to debut our first-ever tea-inspired variant. Brewer Paul Cade brought this idea to life, inspired by his girlfriend, Martha, who prefers tea over coffee. Our Bourbon County Kentucky Fog Stout is a take on the London Fog tea drink. With that flavor profile in mind, we added Earl Grey Tea and Black Tea from Kilogram Tea, as well as clover honey from The Honey House, to make a Bourbon County Stout variant with a complexity like none before. Trust us, you’ll just have to try it.

Bottle from Whole Foods. Pours a deep brown-black with a finger of brown head that dissipates. Bourbon aromas and chocolate fudge come out first, then a nice hit of earl grey and faint citrus notes. The honey is quite present on the palate. More bourbon, chocolate and honey with tea coming and going throughout. I think if you like honey in a stout this is definitely for you. Enjoyed on New Year's Eve as my last beer of 2020.

FLN, I'm not an earl grey fan (apparently not a bergamot fan, the things you learn from untappd) but I am a black tea fan and a BCBS fan, the nose for sure is a lot of bergamot/earl grey, but the finish is mostly black tea and BCBS, warmed up nicely.
