A very nice black IPA with aromas of chicory, coffee, bread and mandarin. It has an oily mouthfeel and nice length.

Pours black with a large off-white head.Nose shows heavy bready and toasty malt along with soft resinous and piny hops.Flavours include more pine, along with more toasty malt notes, a bit of a nutty character and soft cocoa.

Can. Black indeed with an inch of tan head. Aroma of mocha, some earthy/ seedy notes, oranges, a little pine. Lighter bodied than expected, almost a bit empty - but perhaps that's just because you expect more expect a depth of malt presence that was only suggested by the aroma. There's a little mocha but it's mostly about fruit. As well as the citrus there's some melon and pineapple. Dryish but only moderately bitter finish.
