From a 440ml can on 17/3/2021. Pours a hazy golden with a smallish head. The nose is quite citrussy and zesty. Has a medium tropical and citrus sweetness, followed by a quite odd spicy bitterness with a lingering chemical aftertaste. The mouthfeel is silky, the carbonation moderate. Deeds hazies are often really good, but this one leaves me cold. Disappointing.

Canned 15 Jan. Not quite opaque brownish orange with a loose white head. Much grapefruit aroma. Maybe some oranges too. Hints of menthol. Light bodied. A little sweet but there's very little malt influence. Some tropical touches along with the citrus. A bit of hop burn but nothing that makes it tough to drink. After a few sips the aroma seems more dank and less citrus-dominated - but is still very nice. The beer is good but seems - and is - formulaic.
