Kriek Mythology is our tart cherry (kriek in Dutch) mead. It was made with a butt ton of cherries. About 1450 gram per liter.
The taste is nice and tart, as expected, with an underlying earthyness. It's an explosion of Kriek that's perfect for those long summer evenings.

Bottle shared. Deep ruby. Massive sour cherries, soft honey, a bit of almond, more cherries. Medium sweet and sour. Full body. Massive cherry bomb. Tasty.

Pours very dark red. Scent is very intense on cherry, honey is present underneath. Taste is very full, intense. Cherries, obviously, very fleshy, fruity, intense. Not particularly sweet ( sweet by the base ) as the cherry's are the tart kind, but the mead itself ain't tart either.
This is developed to attrackt fans of Oude Kriek. The fruit presents itself in a similar manner, though the base is so different ( and so is the endresult) . But somehow, the pieces fit together, and I can see this working to the aimed-at-crowd, given the circumstances they don't hate sweetness. Medium high alcohol. Smooth base, not too comple in it's honey, but a fine drinkin' mead that's priced as such.
