Cask (gravity) from wood barrel @ MBCF17 [ Manchester Beer & Cider Festival 2017 ] Manchester Central Convention Complex, Windmill Street, Manchester, Greater Manchester, England M2 3GX. [ As Brass Castle Lemming ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, light sweet malt, moderate hoppy, pine, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, sweet fruit, sticky, sweet hops, hoppy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask at Whitelocks, Leeds. Pours golden/amber with a small lasting white head. Aroma of hop, malt, caramel, alcohol, also floral. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation. Very good.

Manchester Beer Festival 2017. Golden in colour. Fairly strong tasting as you might expect, but a healthy tasting tropical fruitiness dominates proceedings.
