Ideen om Donkeymann ble til som en konsekvens av vår begeistring for lakris. Det viser seg at det er mange som deler vår entusiasme og Donkeymann har derfor alltid vært en populær øl hos oss. Nå kommer denne i en oppdatert 2.0 versjon. Den har fortsatt et tydelig lakrispreg fra store mengder med rålakris, men med komplementerende toner av kaffe og brunt sukker.

44 cl can @ Utsjoki. Batch #296, BBE 24.11.2022 Aroma has licorice, hay and ash. Creamy and smooth palate. Flavour has salty licorice, some ash. Too salty for my taste. The smoothiness is really pleasant here though.

Dechiffrerte notater fra sommeravslutning for Mi2 på Cardinal juni-22: brunsvart med fint skum som varer. Ingen tvil om at dette er en lakrisporter, og at de har vært generøse med råvarene. Et snopeøl for alle som liker god lakris. Litt kaffe og fin urtebitterhet sørger for nødvendig balansere, og panelet lot seg imponere over hvor mye smak de har fått til med et øl i butikkstyrke.

Can. A dark brown beer with a huge beige head. The aroma has a licorice with some malts and fruityness. It's medium bodied and nicely carbonated, semi-sweet with a touch of bitterness.
