44 cl can @ Utsjoki. Batch #296, BBE 24.11.2022 Aroma has licorice, hay and ash. Creamy and smooth palate. Flavour has salty licorice, some ash. Too salty for my taste. The smoothiness is really pleasant here though.

Dechiffrerte notater fra sommeravslutning for Mi2 på Cardinal juni-22: brunsvart med fint skum som varer. Ingen tvil om at dette er en lakrisporter, og at de har vært generøse med råvarene. Et snopeøl for alle som liker god lakris. Litt kaffe og fin urtebitterhet sørger for nødvendig balansere, og panelet lot seg imponere over hvor mye smak de har fått til med et øl i butikkstyrke.

Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, licorice and caramel. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long licorice, caramel and roasted finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Can. A dark brown beer with a huge beige head. The aroma has a licorice with some malts and fruityness. It's medium bodied and nicely carbonated, semi-sweet with a touch of bitterness. Sweet licorice, pale malts, some dried fruits and some sugary hints in the flavor. Medium length finish on the sweet side. 220226
