A milk stout brewed with dandelion coffee, this beer is choc full of roasted malt creating a backbone of espresso intensity with a hint of sweetness from the lactose sugar to balance the bitterness.

Many thanks to my BrewDog Secret Santa 20. Fruity nose. The beer starts mild and creamy. Very dry, hints of sourness and deep intense coffee aroma. Roast, grainy and smooth lactic finish.

50cl bottle. Gusher! A black beer with a tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate malt, coffee and red fruits. Taste of sweet dark malt, chocolate, lactose, caramel, red fruits.

Bottle from the Woodman's Wild Ales /GoodH online shop. Dark brown pour with a beige head. Nose is coffee, chocolate, cocoa, burnt caramel, toasted sweet spice. Taste is coffee, cola, liquorice, lactose, cocoa. Sweet malty finish.

Bottle at ash's. Pours deep brown, nose is roasted, coffee, some funk, taste is sweet ,creamy, roasted, liquorice, chocolate.

75cl bottle from the brewery. Appearance - deep brown with an orange chink. Nose - chocolate cake plus raisins. Taste - smoky, burnt raisins and something prune like. Palate - medium bodied. Sweet, then dry and woody through the finish. Overall - lovely stuff.

Bottle. Pours clear dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of coffee, faint liquorice, tinned prunes. Taste is more of the same. Decent.

500ml bottle sent from the brewery as a crowdfunding perk. Pours dark brown to black with a frothy tan head. Aroma: roast malts, vegetal faint sour note. Taste: light sweet & moderate bitter, creamy with roasted malts & coffee. Medium body, spritzy carb, bittersweet roast finish.
