Paler version of Gulden Draak Classic, launched in 2011. The '9000' refers to the zip code of nearby Ghent.

From the brewery's website:

Medium copper/brown with a tan head. Malty with plenty of ripe fruits, some spice from the yeast, cracked a black pepper. Medium to full body. Finishes nice and spicy with background fruit and malt notes. A really nice beer that maybe isn’t exceptional but very welcome.

Bottle at home from a Lidl bumper fun bundle. Opened on a Saturday night having dropped middle child to a house party and all my driving was finished. Luckily the oldest agreed to pick her up. Anyway, great pour and aroma and taste and mouthfeel. This is just really good and the extreme alcohol was very well hidden.

# 4574; 3/2025. Dried fruits, malty, alcohol, apricot, spicy aroma. Murky copper amber to copper body; persistent lacing beige head. Dried fruits, apricot, sweet cherry, spicy, alcohol warmth. Fuller body; medium carbonation. Very good quadrupel. 0,33 l, bottle, supermarket, Bad Liebenzell (Swabia, Germany).

Bottled. Sweetness, alcoholic notes and some woody notes in aroma. Sweet, slightly alcoholic taste, like a stronger blonde ale. Softly csrbonated, medium to heavy on body. Decent, but not outstanding.
