Different, with almost a banana smoothie-type fruitiness on the back end. Notes of pineapple, pine, and citrus pith, but also somewhat sweet and off-kilter; never quite gels into an enjoyable pint. But that seems par for the course with this whole Voodoo Ranger line.

12 ounce can from Woodman's Appleton, 2/15/21. Hazy orange, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of mango and papaya, pale malt. Taste is kiwi, mango, pineapple, pale malt. Medium bodied, juicy. Very nice. I tried this @ Bazil's a few weeks ago, and loved it then and I love it now. Something different but good about this one. Even getting some banana as I type. Pretty damn good.

12 oz from a six pack. Aroma has notes of cantaloupe, citrus peel, pine, alcohol, biscuity malt; altogether pretty faint, though. Pours hazy orange with a one finger+ cream white head with excellent retention, leaving curtains of lace. Taste is moderately bitter with no real sweetness. Crisp, clean and refreshing, but pretty underwhelming in juiciness and overall hop character.

Can from a sixer from the local Raley's Grocery. Pours translucent dark gold with a large foamy white head. Tropicals for aroma. Med body. Flavor is tropical, juicy in a dry way. There's a flavor bringing to mind the Olympia lager of many decades ago. A hop bitterness I rarely encounter. Mildly roasty malt in support. Very good flavor.
