473ml can. Pours an opaque black with a small, cascading, creamy, long lasting, mocha head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, caramel, vanilla and light coffee. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, dark chocolate, vanilla and earth in a dry, bitter coffee finish. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Not as creamy as I had hoped. Only slightly better than the non-nitro version.

473ml can from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours black, with no foam. Aroma is mostly of chocolate, plus some coffee and vanilla. Body is average, with close to no carbonation. Taste is medium sweet, and roasty. Final is fairly dry.

Creamy tan head stayed on a dark brown still body. Malt, lactose & vanilla aroma. Medium bodied, smooth, creamy & clean on the back. Malt, nutty, lactose, chocolate & caramel tastes with nicely hopped finish. Nice drinker.

13.65 oz can, pours black with a small cascading beige head. Nose reveals plenty of dark chocolate upfront — other than that, not a whole lot. Flavour is creamy and chocolatey, with semi-sweet dark chocolate and moderate bitterness. Silky and creamy on the mouthfeel with a nice chocolate character. Surprisingly good.

Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear dark brown colour with an everlasting frothy tan head. Truly the gift that keeps on giving! The aroma is roasty malt, liqourice and chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet and liqourice bitter, with a smooth, roasty, rich, slightly oily, big liqourice, light pepper spice, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Nice, but the liqourice bitterness really dominates and the chocolate is very much in the background.

Almost black with a creamy, beige head. Aroma is a mix of milk chocolate and hazelnut. Taste is chocolate sweet with a touch of plum juice in an otherwise watery finish. Body to the light side of medium, mild carbonation. Nice, apart from the watery end, which ruins it just a bit.

Canned 473ml. -at Goblet Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, medium sized creamy brownish head, chocolate in the nose. Light roasted malt, chocolate, milk chocolate, light nutty and caramel with bitterish finish. Smooth and silky.
