Can form HavnensVin&Tobak. Pours opaque black with medium creamy light brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, caramel, coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, iron and raisins. Taste is medium sweet and faint bitter. Body is creamy with faint carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with notes of chocolate, cocoa, cream, coffee, caramel, raisins, roasted malt and hints of port wine. Very smooth.

Can, 5.8%. Distinct chocolate aroma. Very dark, almost black, colour. Beautiful, big stable creamy light brown head. The flavour also has a distinct chocolate note. A little sweet with a nutty and spicy touch. Low carbonation. Looks good because of the nitro, but feels quite flat. Tastes good, though.

Can. Pours cloudy very dark brown with creamy, stable light tan head - looks like Guinness to a T. Clear aroma of malt and chocolate, with touches of yeast. Sweetish flavour of chocolate and lactose, with bitter notes of roast and hops, and malty and estery touches. Lactic and estery aftertaste with roasty touches. A nice one.

Pint nitro draft at the Yard House in Atlantic Station - Atlanta, Georgia. The pour is a full black and brown with creamy settling nitro 1 inch thick tan head. The aroma is sweet, full natural cocoa chocolate and a whisper of grain and pine. The taste is soft roast, cocoa, chocolate and a bit of earth pine to the back. The palate is nitro silky, expressed almost as cask, clean pine and roast mineral finish. Tasty.

Can (440ml): Literally black, medium-sized and very stable creamy tanned head, moderate to solid sweetish (perfumed) aroma of milk-chocolate and cacao-powder, presumably some nutty aromas underneath; astonishingly mild bitter-sweet flavour, astonishingly light bodied, at least pretty soft; smooth and light bitter-sweet finish with cacao and vanilla. Can. Dark brown/black sporting a lovely beige head. Aroma of milk chocolate and hazelnut. Taste of milk chocolate, cocoa, milk, nougat, hazelnut and brown sugar. I appreciate that it’s just a tad bit on the sweet side. Low bitterness. Low carbonation. Nitro-smooth and easy drinking. Balanced and very enjoyable.

Can from Beer Bruvs. It pours opaque jet black with dense creamy tan head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, sweet creamy chocolate, gateaux, toasty, roasted malt, coffee grounds and mocha. The taste is dry, rich roasted malt, toasty, bitter - sweet, plenty of velvety chocolate, gateaux, touch of coffee, mocha, earthy and a touch of dull spice with a toasty cacao finish. Medium body, fine yet dense carbonation and velvety mouth feel. Like the nitro on this. Nice that it isn't too sweet. Decent.
