It has a strong, complex malt flavor beautifully balanced by the aromatic hops and with a mellow alcohol warming. The mouthfeel is luscious and the chocolate chip cookies play beautifully with the malt. It finishes dry and crisp without any cloyingly sweet aftertaste.

Orange caramel color with a medium sized head that left decent lacing. Sweet and malty with cookie, cocoa, caramel and a bit of fruit. Long finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth

Clearing orange pour. Thought was buying regular barley wine. I need to look at labels closer. Nose is cookies and some dark fruits. Tastes of rich chocolate chip cookie, plum, figs, some cherry. Smooth palate. Too sweet for me. Not sure why add cookie to an already sweet style.

440ml can from Farmers Bar, Subang Jaya, Malaysia. Poured a clear copper colour with a short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is toffee caramel, cookie dough and chocolate. The flavour is strong sweet, with a rich, oily, warm, boozy, toffee, light chocolate palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. Not so bad at the end of the day but I can’t help thinking there isn’t a whole lot of difference between a super cheap burning boozy, Belgian brewed, malt liquor and this, apart from a ton of chocolate chip cookies added at the back end.

16 oz from Growler Guys CDA. Aroma is dark fruit, cookie dough, milk chocolate, earthy. Pours mostly clear new penny copper with a thin collapsing bone-white head. Taste is highly sweet with flavors of chocolate chip cookie dough. Pretty rich, but it's definitely tasty.

From a 16oz can at HopmeBrewStuff Slightly foggy deep orange amber. Persistant dense off white head Very big vanilla and cookie dough aroma, lots also inthe flavor, plenty of sweetness but a good natural upfron cookie flavor. Sweet but quite tasty. Thinck smoth palate.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Clear, bright amber, small foamy head settles out. Aroma is vanilla and chocolate, cookie dough. Taste follows with more of the same. Real, full cookie flavors. Didn't think a barleywine could pull this off, but it did so magnificently.
