29/I/21 - 50cl can from Cloudwater webshop, shared @ home, BB: 1/V/21 (2021-95)

Pretty cloudy orange blond beer, small creamy off-white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: tropical fruits, pineapple, dank hops, bit sweet. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice bitterness, resinous, juicy, hoppy, grapefruit, good stuff! Aftertaste: very bitter, resinous, tropical fruits, grapefruit, hopy, dank hops, orange peel, some ripe melons.

Can from the Virtual Salford Independent Beer Festival box. Aroma is of sweet stone fruit and has underlying pine and resin. Hazy pale bright orange. Thin translucent white head. Initial low key resin and stone fruits. A bitter core then follows through into the finish. Sour edge. There's this particular flavour in there that I am enjoying but can't identify a reference for... it's a tangy resinous almost smokey umami tinged streak. Medium bodied. Slick, with soft edge. Although the carbonation is flat. Long finish which is relatively low key. This east/west collision is pretty good. I like.
