From cask at Union Tap. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild wheaty and fruity, light spiced. Spiced, yeasty, estery and slight peppery. Dry malty and slight caramelish. Lasting light peppery.

On cask at Euston Tap. 4.5%. Hazy mid gold with lasting white. Very lively in the pour. Its not great. Some esters. Its ok ish but not really my thing. Some hop sting on finish. Bit of dirty muddyness in there. Bit dirty. But otherwise the english golden ale / saison mix doesnt quite work.

Cask at the Euston Tap, London. Pours a just slightly cloudy gold with a tight, white cap. Aroma has a lovely yeast character to it with subtle notes of spices, coriander. Medium sweet, plenty of yeast, mild lemon zest, faint grassy bitterness. Medium bodied with smooth carbonation. Dries slightly in the finish, thereโ€™s some slight dough, sugar, grass. Excellent beer, super satisfying.

Cask-conditioned at the Colston Yard, Bristol 28/7/2011. Slightly hazy, deep gold in colour. Aroma of grainy, slightly sweet malts, citrus, apple and pepper. Flavour began with some brief, tangerine sweetness, before some tart apple, yeastiness, green herbs and a dryish finish. Another good beer by BBF.
