Draught @ Pien Brewpub, Helsinki. Sweet, stingy boozy and warming with some roastiness, maple syrup, loads of barrel, oak, wood, toffee and rye notes. Okay, but a bit thin bodied.

Tap@Peders (Odd Side TTO) Copenhagen (09/09/2021) - black with a beige head. Intense dark sweet malty with opulent smooth chocolate, some roast but veering more sweet with layers of maple, caramel, bacon is just subtle accents and not overbearing, well balanced, thick full mouthfeel and body, oak soaked wooden malty finish. Lovely

Crowler from Livonia Liquor. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of beige head. Big woody, oak-focused nose with bourbon, pepper and faint maple syrup notes on the nose. Maple syrup, whiskey and coffee on the palate. Some light smoke, but quite faint. Lingering rye whiskey peppery notes, warming alcohol, maple syrup and oak. Thinner on the body side, but the flavors are nice.
