Ise Kadoya Everlasting Rye Double IPA 8% Lovely russet brown with a thick light beige head of foam and peppery biscuit with caramel aroma. Medium to full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Really spot on beer that’s perfect for the rainy season.

Lovely stuff. Hint of rye weirdness, not much hint of the booze except for that kind of rich rounded thing you might expect from a whisky or something. I dunno, I drank it very quickly.

Tap at Komachi. Deep amber-orange, almost brown, hazy, with a low, thick head. Malty nose, rye bread, citrus, spices, chocolate. spicy, bready flavor, chocolate and rye, caramel, citrus, nicely fruity. Slightly too bitter in the finish but otherwise very tasty stuff.
