Klassisches Dunkles Bier, bei dem die Röstaromen deutlich im Vordergrund stehen sollen. Fünf verschiedene Malzsorten verleihen dem Bier aromatische Tiefgründigkeit, ein hoher Vergärungsgrad lässt ein schlankes, elegantes Bier mit vielschichtigen Aromen nach Bitterschokolade, geröstetem Schwarzbrot aber auch grüner Hopfenfrische entstehen.
Bereits in der Nase dominiert feine Röstmalzsüße, Schokolade und Noten von Schwarzbrotrinde kommen hinzu. Aromen reifer Früchte verbinden sich angenehm mit eleganter Malzigkeit.
Am Gaumen besticht das Dunkle Kellerbier zuerst durch seinen schlanken, eleganten Antrunk. Deutliche Röstmalzbittere und Noten von Bitterschokolade harmonisieren perfekt mit einer durchaus deutlichen Hopfung. Frische Noten des Hopfens verleihen dem Bier elegante Trinkigkeit. Im Abgang bleibt neben der feinen Röstmalzsüße lange, grün-ätherische Hopfenaromatik.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, dark brown with a reddish hue and a smallish, creamy and lacing beige head. Aroma of molasses and pumpernickel. Medium body, more of the above paired with some caramel and a slight nuttiness. Subdued bitterness. Pleasant. 250226

0,5 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot mate! New label art. BB 06.11.25. Cloudy brown in the glass, nearly two finger pale beige head. Looks good. Dry malty aroma, some sweetness. Taste starts dry roasted malty, soft sweetness way behind, short fruity section, dark bready and some bitterhop. Below average carbonated. Nice one.

Hazy red/brown. Aroma is rust caramel some nuts. Taste is sweet caramel and light bitter roast and nutpeel. Quite smooth and easy going and also with some character. Not bad.

Bottle. Ambery brown colour with a mediumsized off-white foamy head. Aroma is caramel, some toffee, mild toasted tones with a bit herbal and earthy tones. Flavour is caramel, some toasted, mild grassy and a bit chocolaty tones to it. Silky smooth.

At Ambasada, with the RBESG23 crowd. Murky red body, off-white creamy head. Caramelly, sweetish, earthy aroma. Sweet caramelly taste, bit chalky, notes of dark bread, some nice touches, and it ends dry, but as a whole it thrilled me less than I hope it would be. Rerate from tap I guess at some point.

500 ml bottle. Dark brown with a beige colored fluffy head. Roasted malt, caramel, roasted nuts, dark bread, roasted breadcrumbs, citrus, some marzipan, cocoa. Mild dry bitterness, roasty malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry roasty malty bitter finish. A good Dunkel!
