Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5
Pours fairly clear, dark red ( bit amber in it's base ) . Scent is intense, extremely floral. The caramel + Spices provide a far more complex, way less fruitforward mead than I expected. Taste is full, sweet, intense, fruity ( blueberry ) but a bit 'chemical'. I'd say toilet cleaner ( due to the spices ) but that sounds more negative than it actually should. Very complex and unique. Medium intense to intense sweetness (troughout Superstition's offerings)
