Cask at The Royal Oak, Prestbury. Clear amber with no head whatsoever. Aroma is malty, caramel, toffee. Taste is malty, caramel, toffee, quite a strong bitter finish. Light body, very fine carbonation.

Bottle from Sainsburys. Clear, medium amber, head dissipates rapidly. Malty, leathery aroma. Taste also focuses on the malts, caramel and earthy. Smooth throughout.

500ml bottle. Poured a clear chestnut brown with a frothy, short-lived, white head. The aroma is sweet malt, fruity woody hop. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a sweet malt, dry light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
