Bottled. A golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and metal, leading to a dry finish.

Sample from 50 cl bottle. Clear, amber golden colour with a thin white head. Fruity aroma with fruits, grasses and bread. Taste is bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes dry and fruity with biscuits. Plain.

Three pints in the Plough Inn in Wrington less than a mile from where this is brewed. This is a classic English bitter, dark with toasted malt, bitter hops, smooth mouthfeel and low abv. It is a perfect session beer and worked alongside the rather large lunch.

500ml bottle: BBD 2nd Sep 2018. Poured into an 'Old Speckled Hen' badged UK pint glass, vase shaped. Nice amber body, clean and clear, wispy white head. Nose has a malty dominance, as does the initial taste: toffee and caramel too the fore. The hops kick in late to balance the finish nicely, giving a dry a slightly bitter aftertaste.

Thanks Marko for buying and bringing this bottle! Dark golden, moderate off-white head. Toasty, light metallic, very low bitterness. Light dry and bitter. Kinda smooth, refreshing, medium body, moderate to high carbonation. Good.

Kicsi, gyorsan eltűnő hab vörösréz szín. Illata enyhén karamelles, fűszeres. Kissé fanyar, karamelles, fűszeres ízvilág. Könnyed, nem vizes, enyhén szénsavas, enyhén keserű. Kellemes ivósör.
