Bottle. It's an unclear deep golden to copper colored beer with a small beige head. Some lacing. The aroma has a spiced, cellar-ish touch, with bread, light toffee and a light fruityness. It's medium to full bodied, quite softly carbonated, but in a strange way there too much carbonation, with a light sweetness touch. Bread and caramel dominates the flavor, accompanied by some pepper hints and dried fruits. Medium length malt driven finish. Interesting but not too good. Suspect some food to go with it would be a good idea. Some hearthy rustic food probably. 220903

Clear deep golden in the glass, and a fine white head Good lacing Ok intensity in the aroma. Some weird notes. Similar to an overdose of juniper Moderate sweetness and a heavy carbonation level Very fizzy mouth feeling. Destroys this beer completely Loads of caramel malt, crystal malt and strong herbal flavor [Bottle from Extra Vinstra, Norway]

500 ml bottle, batch #0266, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Deep golden colour, clear untill the yeast is poured in the end. Small white head. Aroma of yeast and grain, some floral notes. Slightly citric and lagerish mouthfeel (well, it IS a lager). The flavour has first some citric notes, then rather boring grainy notes take over. Low bitterness. Not much here to keep me excited.

500ml bottle, batch 0266, bought at Gulating Ølutsalg in Tromsdalen. Lacing rings from a rocky white head, misty amber body. Moderate smell of mid-sweet malts, hints of caramel. Mild caramel flavours together with impacts of grassy hops. Malt-driven ending. Pretty alright. (Rating session with djoeye, Finn, and lmojoh, PivotekaH7, Tromsø 25.02.2021).
