330ml bottle, 456, from Vinmonopolet Nettbutikk. Dissipating fawn-head, scattered lacing, deep, almost, black body in the glass. Inviting smell of cherry and mid-sweet, roasted chocolate malts. Well balanced taste profile of toffee, chocolate, dark fruits and berries, subdued backbone of oak vanilla. Smoothly roasted ending, warming down the swallow. Well bodied. Perfect sipper an a lazy Saturday afternoon. (Tromsø 13.02.2021).

Bottle from Fountainhall wines, stoney. It pours darkest brown to black with a small bubbly tan cap. The aroma is is rich roasted malt, tree - sweet, vanilla, chocolate gateaux, rocky road, cookie dough, chocolate brownie, dark fruit vibes, cherry, peach and light wood. The taste is slick, oily, bitter - sweet, warming and boozy, fruity whisky, tangy fruits, peach, apricot, plum, cherry, touch of jam, decent hit of spice, chocolate, sachet torte and oak with a toasty whisky finish. Medium to fulsome body and light carbonation. A shame there isn't a touch more carbonation. Rich and fruity. Flavourful stuff.
