Käre is a melancholically cooling wheat beer for year-round use. It’s heavily influenced by Finnish sahti tradition, finishing off with hints of smoke, juniper and rye.

Enjoy cold (8-10°C) with dates, smoked fish or sausages. Proudly queue the Vorna album, Sateet Palata Saavat.

Bottle at home from CBF '19. Pours copper with a thin, quickly disappearing off-white head. Nose is estery hefe notes, berries. Taste is held back altogether, showing slightly sweet hefe notes again, juniper's there as well, some very faint smokey touch in every other sip. It's actually a pleasant beer cause I found myself thinking I could grab a few more of this, but pretty mild and held back in many characteristics altogether.

Many thanks to djoeye for sharing a 330ml bottle of this one. Clear amber body, bubbly, pearl white head, lacing rings down the glass. Peaty smell with a scent of spices. Mixed taste character of mild peat, juniper, and forest. Finish off with peat and spices. Fine depth. Interesting brew and pretty good. (Rating session with djoeye and Finn, PivotekaH7, Tromsø 10.02.2021).
