Imperial Stout with white chocolate and speculoos.

Black with light tan head. Sweet deep roasted chocolate malts, speculoos cookies, sweet and bitter. Full body, creamy, soft carb. Quite nice. Not too sweet.

Can shared thanks to Thijs. Black with big tan head. Roasted malts, dark chocolate, earthy, bitter coffee and dry spices with cinnamon and allspice, cloves, vanilla. Solid sweet and medium bitter. Almost full bodied. Decent stuff.

Zwart bier met bruin schuim. Smaak is bitterzoet en warm met iets van chocolade, kandij en bessenjam. De speculoos kan ik echter niet echt ontdekken.

Panda thanks to Cloin: Poured a deep black brown with a tan head. Aroma is spicy, chocolate. Taste is chocolate and Indian curry spices.

Panda at home thanks to Colin. An oily dark brown black coloured pour with a halo of dark tan head. Aroma is big dark meaty roast, liquorice, burnt cake, some nutmeg spice, salty roast. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, black burnt sugars, cakey, light spice, Jamaican cake, cakey malts. hint of vanilla and tobacco. Palate is medium sweet, sticky, oily, lowish carbonation. Good.

Can. Black pour. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, caramel, speculaas, licorice and coffee. Taste has roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, licorice, coffee, subtle speculaas herbs and a little smoke. Speculaas is very subtle and I don't taste white chocolate. It's a good stout, like the roast, but it's not really what was promised.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 01/02/21 - wee hours. Black with a decent tan covering that stays for the show. Nose is chocolate, spice, Raljex, caramel, biscuit, dried fruits. Taste comprises chocolate biscuit, cookie dough, light spice, green pepper, roast malts, brown sugars. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced kiss of alcohol. Decent enough impy affair ... not sure I could split the chocolate between white and dark mind!
