[1/30/17] Draught at Mikkeller Bar in San Francisco. Golden. Nice fruity hops aroma. Dry flavor with fruity hops. Medium-bodied, mouthfeel feels nitro’d and it doesn’t work.

Growlette from Winooski Beverage.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a mostly transparent golden yellow color with a thin white foamy head that dissipated immediately. Foamy rings of lace wove around the glass.
The aroma starts off with some grapefruit pulpy sweetness, lingering sweet melon, some pineapple and a sly resin bitterness balancing in nicely.
The flavor takes the previously mentioned aromas sweetly and wraps them into the bitterness component with a semi-dry bittersweet aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this was definitely light on the body to make for a great session. Carbonation feels good.
Overall, this was a nice session IPA that I could have again.

On tap at the Good Hop. Aroma has a light cracker malt backbone with moderate tropical fruit notes and hints of melon. Moderate citrus notes. Pours a pale, hazy, yellow straw with a medium sized, white head with decent retention as it recedes to a thin film that lingers. Moderate lacing and faint legs. Flavor has a light sweetness with some pale cracker malt notes. Medium bitterness with moderate grapefruit and resin hop notes. Lighter tropical fruit and stone fruit. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with a slight watery note and moderate carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice light IPA with some good hop notes. Not as hoppy as it could be, but not bad with nice bitterness and a light malt backbone.
