Can from Total Wine in Huntington Beach, CA. Pours light gold with a white head. Sort of a Saaz aroma. Med body or so. It’s quite clean. Flavor is bready, with a goodish dose of Saaz type hop. It’s nicely bitter. I’d love to have an Imperialized version. Don’t think it’s too hoppy for a pils. Making me thinker of Urquel. Nice bitter finish on the tongue.

Can, courtesy of Brewracho, thanks! Aroma of grain, citrus and malt. Taste of grainy citrus, some mild hops and malt. Very thirst quenching and tasty for a pilsner.

GABF 2015. After the delicious kellerbier, they missed the mark here. not bad, but very floral, almost like an ipa aroma and lots of hops with a floral quality. I am thinking it is the wrong kind of hops entirely, usually I can pick up Saaz but I am not getting it here. Not a bad beer in its own right, but not really a Czech pilsner either.
