Can to tulip.
Appearance: glossy burnt yellow to copper color and a sly transparency about it and a finger and a half of white foamy head which dissipated fairly slow to leave some light lace
Aroma: orangey hop oily toned, light tropical fruits, light pine and a touch of floral hops; light clean caramel malts
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine bittersweet quality; finishes floral, orangey, tropical fruity and a touch of pine
Texture: medium bodied, good as a sipper, light smoothness but noted oily - slick-like vibe on the tongue
Overall: nice enough DIPA as it leans with a West coast vibe to it.

Bottle at Battle of Bull, Cheras Malaysia. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, toffee caramel. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a crisp, herbal, earthy, floral woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Pale amber, with a medium head. Orangey hop aroma, bit of pine, lots of caramel malt, but low lov, not so chewy. On the palate, medium bitterness and a bit of alcohol but it's overall pretty smooth for what is basically an old school IIPA. Again the hops are mostly citrusy, with a bit of pine. Good structure, and is still fresh enough to be viable. At 2 months from brew date, that's probably close to the BC record for getting an American IPA onto the shelves.

Poured from 568mL can (pkg 03/22/21). Clear-ish deep gold with white head. Oily resinous hops, light booziness, mild bready caramel malt. Decent.
