(Can) Pours black with good tan head. Nice aroma of roast grain with coffee and chocolate. Medium body with somewhat fizzy carbonation. Good taste. Dark roast grain with black coffee bitterness. Notes of chocolate. Very drinkable.

Draft @ Good Beer Faucet, Tokyo. Black with almost no beige head. Aroma of roasted malts and ground coffee. Taste of brown sugar, roasted malts, ground coffee with a little bit of chocolate. Moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. Thin watery. Ok but I‘m pretty underwhelmed.

24/10/2022. Draught at Quarryman’s Hotel, Sydney. Pours black with a small creamy beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, light coffee, caramel, dried fruits, light brown sugar notes. Medium sweetness and light roasted bitterness. Medium body, creamy, average carbonation. Nice light roasty finish. Enjoyed this.

Pours black with a large fading off-white head.Nose shows cocoa, roasted malt, bready malt and soft liquorice.Flavours include more cocoa, soft caramel, bready and roasted malt. A bit of sweetness is there amongst the roasty finish.

From a 355ml can on 5/5/2021. Pours a a deep brown with a small to medium head. Has a good deal of cocoa and milk chocolate on the nose. Similar on the sip, with cocoa dominating, along with milk chocolate, a touch of caramel and a hint of cinnamon. Has a mild bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A tasty and harmonious little stout.

Can. Very dark brown with a small tan head that's soon gone. 3- Roasty aroma with coffee and brown sugar, some licorice and anise. Sweet with balance provided by hard roasted flavours. Anise lingers. Solid drop.
