Bottle at home from Csakajó. Pours slightly opaque golden with a finger wide white head. Nose is led by vineous notes, fruity and somewhat floral with a spicy, peppery herbal touch. There's a hint of wood in the background, but it remains subdued. Some citrus zest also appears, this appears a bit soapy, but weirdly enough in a good way. Taste is also vineous upfront, restrained acidic character comes through, it's fruity and floral, also a tad spicy. Moderately bitter, barely sweet but definitely has a great balance. Closes with fruity, citric herbal finish and dry mouthfeel, has a light yet full body and soft to average carbonation. So this is a big fucking surprise, I had almost no expectations for this beer whatsoever, I hoped for an interesting experiment but it caught me off guard really. Multi layered and well balanced, complex and interesting, there's plenty to find and think about. I dare to say this is the biggest surprise of the year and it's up there amongst the most exciting ones I've had in a while.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, herbal and some mild toffee. Flavour is some berries, mild toffee, floral and some mild elderflowery tones.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass deep golden, small head. Dry sourish aroma. Starts malty, dry, sourish, light fruity touch of lemon. Mild bitter background. Finish milder. Okay.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Clear pale amber, small head. Aroma oaky wj´hite wine with floral notes. Dry with light body and crisp mouthfeel. Grass, oak, bread and white wine. Mid bitter finish. Quite lovely stuff!

ABV: 5.7%. Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, moderate hoppy, herbs, grass, wood, barrel.
