0,5 bottle.Amber. Not much goin on the foam and carbo department.Looks like Im drinking an aged rum. Aroma is orange zest with some herbal mix tea in it.Complex favor -some roast and well balanced.Abrupt finish.Good beer

Klare rötlich-haselnussbraune Farbe; feinporige relativ stabile Schaumkrone. In der Nase sehr würzig und dunkelmalzig - auch leicht röstmalzig, Honig, Karamell und beerige Frucht, süßlich-säuerlich. Im Geschmack sehr malzig und würzig, leicht karamellig, trocken und süß zugleich, präsente Bittere, mindestens mittlerer Körper. Insgesamt sehr überzeugend.

500ml bottle. Opalescent, redd-ish, copper colour with average to huge, firm, frothy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Minimally toasty and grainy, mellow malty, minimally yeasty fruity and earthy hoppy aroma, hints of red berries, cherry, caramel, a touch of spelt. Taste is mellow, minimally bready and spicy, malty, slightly yeasty fruity and mildly bitter, earthy hoppy, hints of caramel, a touch of cherry, red berries, subtle malty, rye-like spiciness.
Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying, simultaneously minimally dry palate, fine, dense, creamy carbonation.
Very nice colour, good mouthfeel, mild, harmonious composition - decent.

Optisch zeigt sich klares Orangekupfer mit feiner Perlage. Die cremige Schaumkrone erscheint in gebrochenem weiß und ist dabei sehr stabil und überaus langlebig. Die Duftaromatik wirkt deutlich malzbetont mit brotigen, karamelligen und leicht würzigen, waldhonigartigen Noten. Diese zarte Würze lässt sich wohl auf den Hopfen zurückführen. Der Antrunk kommt sehr frisch, angenehm prickelnd, süßlich karamellig malzig und leicht würzig herb. Im Mundgefühl präsentiert sich ein Körper mit mäßiger bis guter Fülle, weicher Rezenz, samtiger Textur und einer sehr zarten Trockenheit. Aromatisch dominieren die brotigen, leicht toastigen und karamelligen Malznoten. Die leicht würzige, sanft herbe Hopfenaromatik bindet sich dabei sehr gut ein. So entsteht ein sehr schönes Gesamtbild mit einer kräftig malzigen, aber nicht zu süßen Charakteristik, in dem die Hopfenherbe für die nötige Ausgewogenheit sorgt. Das wiederum sorgt für eine sehr gute Drinkability. Im Nachtrunk wirken die Malznoten schön nach. Zunehmends legt sich eine trockene Hopfenherbe darüber. Mein Fazit: Richtig gut! Und das trifft auch genau meinen Geschmack, denn genau solche Biere liebe ich!

500ml bottle at home. Pours a deep amber with a thin off white head. Nose is bready, caramel, some honey notes. Flavour is caramel, bread, honey, German hops. Nice moreish finish.
