Unser Klostersud ist ein feinwürziges, malzbetontes Meisterstück der fränkischen Braukunst. Es besticht durch beste Rohstoffauswahl und ein aufwändiges Brauverfahren. Im Antrunk eine leichte Süße, die dann von einem großen Geschmackskörper begleitet wird, der selbst Frauen mit der Zunge schnalzen lässt.

500ml bottle at home. Pours a deep amber with a thin off white head. Nose is bready, caramel, some honey notes. Flavour is caramel, bread, honey, German hops. Nice moreish finish.

Bottle online from Raynville Superstore. Pours an almost clear copper colour with a large thick creamy off white head. Aromas of grains, hay, toasty bread, honey and caramel. Taste has more toasty grains, hay, bread, caramel and honey with added notes of peppery spice and also a mild grassy hop on the finish. Medium to full body with average carbonation and a slightly oily mouthfeel. Good beer.

Moderate creamy mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Heavy malty and light hoppy aroma. Okderate bitter and sweet nice caramellic flavor. Average moderate bitter fnish. Oily palate. Nice.

From bottle. Caramel malt, citrussy zesty notes, bread, roasted breadcrumbs, toffee, wort, metal. Dry bitterness, malty sweetness. Full bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry zesty malty sweet harsh bitter finish. A rather malt-forward Amber Lager with a harsh bitter long lasting finish.

Flaska från Bierothek. Mörkt gyllenfärgad klar vätska med medelhögt krämigt skum. Storleken större, mer malt och mindre humle än lillebror. Men beskan finns för åt det kryddiga hållet, torkad frukt, glödgade äpplen, karamelliserat socker, mjuk kaka. Mycket gott

Klare gelbe rötliche Farbe mit nahezu nicht existierender weißer Schaumkrone. Süßlich malziger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, brotig mit Karamell. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit aktiver Kohlensäure.

Clear amber. Aroma is chestnut caramel copper somewhat oxidized rust. Taste is malty sweet with light rural touch. Somewhat bready. More metals in the aftertaste. Not bad.
