Tap @ Bayer Theinheim. Pours cloudy dark golden with a white head. Earthy and woody. A bit skunky and dirty. Grassy hop finish. Odd when they can brew world class bier.

Pours an amber color. Notes of bready malts, some grass and hints of yeasty spicyness in aroma.

Wässriger, süß herber Antrunk. Wenig würziger im Mittelteil, steigende Herbe. Weiter wässrig, im Nachgeschmack trocken malzig. Naja... 9/8/9/8/11/8

Bottle:A bit unclear, deep golde to light amber coloured, relatively quickly diminishing small off-White head; sweetish-caramelly and slightly barnyardy nose with some well hidden hops underneath; sweetish flavour, bitterness barely detectable, tart and sticky; malt and vegetables in the short sweetish-bitter finish. Not a good franconian brew...

(draught at the brewpub & bottle at home) Slightly hazy, amber colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Juicy (cara-)malty aroma with apricot-fruity notes and a somewhat corky/mouldy touch, backed by shades of herbal hops in the background. Moderately sweet and delicately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Distinctively juicy malty taste with fruity notes, traces of caramel and a discreet hops character; sweet and mildly bitter hoppy finish with fruity and delicately biscuity notes. Not as good as their usual Lagerbier. 12. & 22.IX.14
