A blend of 2 barrels, selected for their strong grapefruit-like flavours. The predominantly bitter and sour pallatte complements the basil addition. The fresh basil was cold infused through transfer from barrel to conditioning tank, allowing the beer to pick up on the delicate, shallow aromas of the herb. A lower acidity paired with the vibrant profiles of basil and grapefruit make for a refreshing and unique beer.

Head gone in seconds, veiled yellow-orangey beer. Lactic acid, lemony, farmyard odours. Sourish, lemony, lactic acid; there is an herbal flavour that is indeed basil - but given blind, I wouldn't have guessed. Something as sour oranges. Very refreshing, light body, spritzy carbonation. Good, and very convincing!! Txs to Stef!

Säuerlich fruchtiger Beginn, feinherb, süffig, die Säure steigt leicht an. Kräutrig, Basilikum, mittellanger Abgang, rund. Gut! 10/9/11/10/9/10

Geen Nevel, toch een zure bak onkruid. Maar waar het bij Nevel bijna altijd de goede kant op valt is deze net een tikkeltje ongebalanceerd en dun. Helaas ook wat ijzer/roest in de smaak.
