This Piquette is made from apple, quince and pears of local field orchards. For this concoction the pomace is mixed with our well water, macerated for one to two days and then pressed again. Fruity, fresh and with natural carbonation.

Pop ‘m while they’re chunky! Unclear pale golden with no head but some floaties. Hard weather apples, hard pears and floral quince notes, bit like watery pineapple. Light sweet, medium tart, bitter. Medium body, soft carb.

Bottle shared. Very lively, started clear but when I opened the bottle a lot of sediment went up in a whirlpool. Light pale yellow golden. Dry pear, funky, dry apple peel, mineral, CO2, earthy, the quince comes through slowly and soft lemon in the finish. Very light sweet and bitter. Over light bodied, sparkly carbonation and quite dry finish. Interesting.
