The historic beer of Münster. The beers in this blend matured on average for 12 months in red wine barrels. In this time the beer developed its fruity and wine-like character. For this small blend no. 02-2021 we have used mirabelles from a local field orchard that we picked ourselves. This Aoltbeer shows a balanced acidity with lots of stonefruit character and jam.

Thnx Maakun! Unclear dark golden with white head. Sour grains, hay, apricot, prune, flowers. Soft but biting lemony sourness but rich with aroma. Tasty.

Bottle shared. Bit hazy dull orange golden with a bit of fruit pulp and small white head. Lots if funky mirabelles, soft citrus, pineapple, a soft herbal touch, light lactic, wheat, dry wood, apricot. Medium sour, almost medium sweet. Medium bodied. Really nice.
