EBC 98.

Bottle from Daily Delis, Amsterdam. Hazy black, small, foamy, beige head. Aroma of mocha, biscuit, coffee cream, actual milk, milk chocolate, almond, vague clove, liqueur. Taste has sweetis plum & raisin in a chocolatey & very creamy malt body with a nutty edge and a hint of coffee (with cream). Herbal hoppy finish, subdued though by the lingering milk chocolate & almond aspects as well as softly warming amaretto-like alcohol (the 11% effectively covered by the creaminess). Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Decent, could have been more roasted but this is literally more of a Milk than a Sweet Stout.

Pours pitch black and a dense steady light brown head. Aroma's: roasted, milk chocolate, sweet. Retronasal it's sweet chocolate, cocoa powder, dark fudge, vanilla, light red fruit. Flavour is sweet, chocolate, light roast. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, soft mouhtfeel. Finishes chocolaty, roasted, light medium bitter. Honestly, I think this is pretty good.

Can 33cl. @home poured into a teku glass. Pitch black with ruby hue against the light, tall creamy tan head, half-way lasting, light lacing. Aroma roasted malts, cocoa powder, coffee, chicory, vanilla. Taste light heavy sweet, slightly bitter, malty, chocolate, coffee groundings, maple syrup, vanilla. Medium body, oily to sticky texture, mild sweet aftertaste, sugary, sugary, not 100% convincing, tasty but kind of a blunt brew, decent though.
