Panda 🐼 at home thanks to Colin. A dark black brown coloured pour with a halo of mid tan head. Aroma semi sweet, meaty earthy roast, tangy toasted apple, blackedned sugars, molases. Can at home, from an online peddler, 06/10/22. Black with a big old tan covering that stays for the show. Nose is roast malts, chocolate, raisins, dried fruit rinds, toffee. Taste comprises mellow roast, chocolate biscuit, ashen tones, liquorice, spice, charr, dried fruit rinds, burnt toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Can thanks to Paul. Appearance - dark brown to black and opaque. Tan to fawn head. A few big chunks of yeast are obvious. Nose - burnt toffee, bonfire and some dark chocolate. Taste - chewy caramel, toffee and burnt wood. Some brown sugar lurking. Palate - medium bodied, creamy, rich middle, rich finish with light roast/burnt finish.
