Salted Orange Porter. Mash complexity overload with roast wheat, mild ale malt, Chevalier and variable roast crystal. Sea salt and fresh Spanish orange zest as late additions binding a malt fresh zingy finish

Keg at the Cock Tavern - Hackney. Pours oily black with a creamy beige head. Interesting, lots of zesty orange, gooey chocolate, booze, licorice, ash. Medium to full bodied, chewy, with fine to average carbonation. Bitter cocoa finish, orange peel, earth. Novel.

Newcastle jaunt. Keg at the Box Social Tap Room. Pours black with a thin beige head. Aromas of salted caramel and chocolate orange. Taste is all chocolate orange up front, salt creeping up the rear. Long finish. NIcely done, but a sipper, very full-bodied and flavourful.
