Keg at the brewpub. Low key dark chocolate and coffee aroma. Dark and glossy. Creamy off-white head. Light bitter with a chocolatey sweetness. Medium bodied. Slightly stick but overall slick. Average carbonation. Long dry finish. A stout-like BIPA. Not too bad.

Kwg at the source. A dark black coloured pour with a loose biege tan head. Aroma is really nice rounded mixture of toasted malts, pine and mellow tropical fruits pine resin.. Flavour is composed of nutty, mellow roasted malts, pine resin, marmalade on toast,. Lingering kick of roast. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation,. Good.

Keg at BDTH - London. Pours black-brown with a tight, creamy beige head. Nice burnt pine aroma. Light-medium sweet flavour, some ashy roast, more torched pine and grass, orange peel, raisins, prunes, bitter cocoa. Medium bodied with massaging carbonation and velvety texture. Rounded finish, warming, more bitter ash, dark chocolate, toasted piney hops, vague citrus fruits. Pretty solid.
