Fourth reincarnation of experimental series of Equinox strong Belgian ales by AF Brew.
This version comes dark in a body and fermented typically for strong dark Belgian ales, but literally takes over the torch from antecedent China Equinox: má là is translated as "numbing and spicy" and is a popular sauce in Sichuan cuisine blended of Tianjin Chili (spicy) and Sichuan pepper (numbing).

on tap from punk craft in moscow, 480 rub/l. pours almost black with a steady beige head. aroma of szechuan pepper, coriander, plastic. flavour of the same plus leather and some dried fruits, slightly spicy and plasticky. interesting; reminds me of china, indeed.
