Bottiglia. Il naso vira verso il miele. La finezza olfattiva è elevata, permanendo in maniera apprezzabile. Il manto birroso superiore è destinato a vita breve. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è pieno. Il dolce è pesante. L'amaro è nella media. La forza gustativa è elevata e la persistenza è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Sulla lingua si attestano note di miele di castagno, frutta secca, pane cotto di recente, agrumi, mandarino e fico.

lattina 33 cl, schiuma bianca fine evanescente, colore giallo paglierino velato, al naso subito intenso miele poi banana e leggere note balsamiche, in bocca ancora subito miele poi zucchero candito frutta a pasta gialla spezie, corpo rotondo, carbonazione moderata, media secchezza. molto dolce compensato da un amaro accentuato. Equilibrata non stucchevole. Mi piacciono le birre al miele e questa è molto buona. E RB non è ancora chiuso……. c. Topbeer 01.02.25

Dec. ’16. On tap at Open Baladin, Rome. It poured a deep golden body with medium sized head. Very nice aroma of fruit, honey, nuts and spiced dried figs (with laurel, like we make it back home). Flavor was lightly sweet malty - honey, dried figs and caramel with estery Belgian yeast touch, then spicy in the same way nose suggested which dries it somewhat towards the finish. Medium to full bodied with moderately long sweetish and dry peppery/spicy finish. Alcohol was completely drown in its flavors and not felt even in the aftertaste. Quite a nice spiced belgian-style ale.

On tap at Luppolo Station in Rome-Italy. Ancient golden hazy pour, little white foam with drafts on the glass. Nose: balsamic honey, eucalyptus honey, fresh notes of figs and peppermint. Lovely! Mouth: nice Belgian start, honey and medium pepper finish. Just great!
