[ As Superstition Cherry Brandy Barrel Candy ].
ABV: 14.0%. Clear dark red colour with virtually no head. Aroma is honey, berries, cherry, wood - barrel, tart berries, tart cherries. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light acidic with a long duration, tart, berries, cherry, honey, wood, barrel, tannins. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20190511]

MBCC2019 Red Session. Pours somewhat lighter violet or dark red. Nose is sweet, a bit of fruits there, somewhat tart. Taste has more of that tartness, blueberries and some other fruits. Quite nice to sip although a bit acidic - which is not really usual for a mead.

MBCC. Deep purple without head. Aroma is sweet, honey, cherries and wood. Flavor is very sweet. Sweet finish with warming alcohol. Oily. 110519

Sample @ MBCC 2019, red session. No head. Color is ruby. Aroma and taste are rich cherries, fruits, honey, lavender and has a nice long sour cherry finish.
