Hops have been cultivated in Bremen for centuries. Following this tradition, we've planted various hop varieties at Gemüsewerft, right in the heart of Bremen. The result is a delicious beer with a regional flavor and a hint of grapefruit.

Enjoy and support! A portion of the proceeds goes to the non-profit urban gardening project Gemüsewerft.

Can 33 cl. Pours a cloudy golden with a creamy and lacing, off-white head. Sweet, caramelly nose with a very discreet hop note. Light body, slightly biscuity and fruity with a very subdued bitterness. Don't plan too much with these hops for the future. 231225

On tap at the breweries bar inside Markthalle Acht (Bremen) on 19th October 2021. Thin white head on a hazed golden orange body. Fruity hop aroma and taste, solid malt base for balance. Easy drinking brew.

Getreidig hopfiger Beginn. Moderate Herbe, wenig malzig, ansteigende Bitterkeit. Der zaghafte Hopfen wird ebenfalls stärker, bleibt aber insgesamt auf mittlerem Level. Karamellige Nuancen im hinteren Mittelteil, langer, frisch herber Abgang. 10/10/11/9/9/9

Many thanks to Holger! Grainy nose. The beer starts fruity with a nice moderate bitterness. Easy to drink, slightly grainy. Lots of caramelly dry bitterness. Fruity parts. Long very dry caramelly and grainy finish. Nice.

Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Fresh hoppy aroma. Starts mild, malty, more and more fruity-hoppy. Some tropical notes, mild sweetness. Well balanced finish. Nice!

0,33 l bottle from the source. Murky flat dark orange in the glass, small one finger head. Tropical fruity smell with pale grain. Taste starts hopy, more pine than fruityness. Pale grain, honey in the second row. Smooth at the palate. Okay.
