Somehow I always seem to skip Lervig stouts, but they're always very pleasant when I drink them. This is a very tasty and desserty stout. Nice amount of lactose, subtle berry and maybe something cheesecakey. Smooth, dangerously drinkable and yum.

Can from Eltham Wines. Black pour with a tan head. Nose is blueberry jam,liquorice toffee,cookie dough,prunes. Taste is blackberry pie,prunes,vanilla, digestive biscuit. Light alcohol burn.

On tap. A black beer with a small beige lacing. Aroma of sweet dark malt, chocolate, vanilla, dark berries. Taste of sweet chocolate and caramel sauce, vanilla, dark fruits. Nice.

GYG 070919. Black color with a tan head. Aroma is sugar, roasted malt, caramel, cocoa. Flavor is roasted malt, caramel, cocoa, sugar, licorice, vanilla, lactose, oat, chocolate, alcohol, biscuit. Powerful beer.

30/XI/19 - sample @ Day 2 of Billies Craft Beer Festival 2019, BB: n/a - (2019-2066) Thanks to all for sharing today’s beers!

Aroma: lovely, lots of chocolate, spicy notes, tonka beans, some caramel, lots of vanilla, nice roast, bit malty. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots of alcohol, nice roast, sweet touch, lots of dark chocolate, some coffee, almost charcoal roast. Aftertaste: nice roast, alcohol, some overripe banana, coffee, nice one, though a little too much alcohol.

Dark pour with a nice tan head that gives way to a thin velvety lacing. Notes of perfumed berries, chocolate, a bit of vanilla, lactose/milk. I have to say I quite enjoy this, as I am a fan of berry stouts.
