Het bier is een imperial porter gebrouwen met donkere Muscovado-suiker, sinaasappelschil en gember. De moscovadosuiker is gesponsord door Kent Foods, de etiketten door Eshuis en het verpakken op blik door Grand Canning. Voor dit bier is met 11 andere brouwerijen samengewerkt aan de receptuur.

Canned 16/02/2021. Brownish black, near flat. Smells malty, subtle ginger, orange peel. Nice body, rich and smooth, good bite. Taste is interesting, better than I was expecting. Ginger is real subtle, orange adds something, pretty coffee'ish. Not bad!

Thx Maakun! Black with thin offwhite head. Massive sweet (muskovado sugar), orange peel, spices. Deep roasted chocolate. Big sweet, quote bitter. Medium body and soft carb.

Can shared. Very dark brown with dark beige head. Lots of walnuts, sweet coffee, milk chocolate, kardemom, vanilla, whisky, praline. Very sweet with boozy bitterness. Over medium bodied with slick feel. Quite tasty but you really get the alcohol.

Pours pitch black and a beige head with short retention. Aroma's: sweet, drop, licorice, roasted. Retronasal it's sweet, zwart/wit/ Engelse drop/Italiano, roasted, dark fudge. Flavour is quite sweet, light roasted bitter. Strong alcohol feel, but not too sharp. Above medium bodied.

Black with a beige head. Deep roasted malts with some orange and ginger aroma. Sweet taste with a low-bitter long-lasting finish. Really excellent porter.

Near black with a small tan head. Aroma of caramel, chocolate, coffee, vegetal notes, spices, cloves, cardamom, licorice and orange. Flavour is light heavy sweet and bitter. Light full bodied with soft carbonation.
