Tap at the brewpub. Looks good in the glass, small head. Starts mild, malty, modest dry. Spicy-hoppy background. Light grasy touch. Some herbal notes as well. Finish well balanced. Quite drinkable. Nice!

Fresh 1 l growler from the brewery. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, dense, stable, white head. Sweetish, quite fruity-floral and slightly malty aroma of honey, mirabelle, some butterscotch and hints of grains. Gently sweet, malty, minimally bitter, moderately fruity-floral taste of honey, butterscotch, some grains, sultanas and light mirabelle, followed by a short, minimally bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly oily mouthfeel, average carbonation. Solid Lager but too sweet for my liking. The butterscotch shouldn't be there as well. Apparently the first bottom-fermented beer from Hövels?!
