6oz pour at the brewery. Pours clear gold with a foamy white head. Caramel malts and herbal grass on the nose. Flavour has dry, herbal grass and biscuit malts. Dry finish with a fairly thick body for the style. There is a chewy/yeasty aspect of it that does detract, but otherwise it's quite good.

On tap at The Magnet, pours a clear copper orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out toasted bready malt and light nuttiness. Flavour is clean and crisp, with a nice toasted bready malt character. Clean and authentic. Very good.

Hazy amber colour with large, compact head. It tastes like the most anonymous Ale, and without the Ale esters, very little character from that amber colored malt, and no hop character; clean, with mild bitterness. Boring.

Can, from Cask & Barrel. The amber colour is right on but that murky hazy stuff, meh. Doesn’t look right. Thin head. Light toast but also some weird stuff - bubblegum maybe? Anyway that’s not on the palate but it’s toasty and way too yeasty and unclean. In need of refinement. I mean it’s disappointing.
