Lightly hazy bright orange with a white head. Aroma is sweet, fruity, honey, light citrus. Medium thin body. Flavor has light fruity and citrus notes with a bit of sweetness. Interesting.

Bottle. Cloudy gold with a low head. Aroma of berry, honey, herbs, citrus. Tasty flavor of honey and gooseberry. Nice tanginess, even tart. Great balance, plus an herbal character that is quite nice. Rounded and full, with medium carbonation. Aged palate. A pleasant beer.

Sample at Ale Wine & Spirits in Powell on 03/01/2012. This brew pours a clear golden color with a medium thin white head that dissipates quickly. Short strings of lacing on the glass. The aroma is fruity and floral. Light body with flavors of sweet malt, berries and flowers. The finish is sweet and fruity. Fairly average overall.

Mild taste of berry with a little lager like skunk, I guess gooseberry though I’ve never actually eaten one before. Colour is pissy, carbonation ok. Bottle from gift pack.

Bottle at Buchanan’s Bistro, Banchory as Williams Brothers Grozet. It pours golden yellow, with a fizzy white head. The nose is hay, sweet tinned fruit, kiwi and floral notes. The taste is lime, gooseberry, kiwi, honey sweetness, touch of tartness, dough, hay and floral, with some dryness in the finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Given the general opinion of this beer I was pleasantly surprised!

Retrieved from bargain bin for 1 Euro. Nice fresh citrus, slightly sweet herbal, clean and fresh. Zesty gooseberry, soft lemon, slight spicy zest. Decent beer. In fact a lot of these Williams beers are good, coming back to them after a while since having them in Scotland. Up to 3.4.

Amber, clear, thin frothy white head, minimal lacing.
Aroma of light malts, slight grain, bit of spicy and citrus hop, some herbal / floral notes.
Taste of citrus hops, some light grain malts, citrus fruits..sour lime, hint of herbs.
Palate - soft carb, thin body, plain finish - light bitter with some sour fruit.
Overall - A sort of flavoured lager. A bit dull to be honest. Not much going on here.

From a 330ml bottle on 29/10/2011. Pours a cloudy pale golden with almost no head. Has a very slight grassy, bready, fruity aroma.The flavour is primarily of sweet fruit (berries), with just a touch of spiciness. Finishes with a modest bitterness. This is unusual and moderately interesting, but not very beer like. I doubt I’ll have another.

Bottle. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Some citrus notes. Gooseberries very week present. Moderate bitter nice flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Berries only detectable. Oily palate. Fresh but nothing special.
