Bottle at home in NH, shared with siblings. Pours slightly hazy with bits of sediment. Sweet berry character with medium bitterness, some wood. Sweet flavor. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Almost some ginger notes, and a bit of faint earth in the finish. Alright.

Bottled 500ml. -from Biererei, Vienna. Darker golden coloured, medium sized white head, light fruity nose. Sweet malty, quite fruity and a bit acidic with herbal notes. Light acidic traces possibly from gooseberries. Interesting and easy-drinkable brew.

Bottle. Hazy yellow with a small white head. Wheaty aroma with pepper, lemon, gooseberries. Taste is sweet at first then quite sharp spices and some berry tartness. Refreshing.

12oz bottle split with Ann. Filtered golden yellow. Small white head. Interesting earthy berry aroma. Mild, golden malt tones and a subdued dry green grape like berry touch. Mild spice tones, mellowed out in the smooth sweet malt. Excellent, doughy mouthfeel. Sublime.

Fruchtiger Antrunk, mittelintensiv und interessant. Dunkel-fruchtig, minimal herb. Mild, etwas hopfig und hefig, dunkel-süß. Lecker, sehr süffig, aber nicht wirklich tiefgründig. 9/10/9/8/6/8

50cl. It pours golden with gentle bubbles. Initially, there is some head which mostly disappears. The nose has honey and malt, maybe even toffee. The taste has a base of barley with the gooseberry and citrus over the top. The palate has medium structure, medium texture and it is fairly clean on the finish. Overall, a nice ale which could be sessioned.

500ml bottle. Pours light gold with a medium head. Aroma is lager malt, some wheat and light berries. Lagery start and light fruity malt finish. Would be cracking in the summer.

11.2 oz bottle into dimpled mug. Bought the Historical Ales of Scotland gift pack at a convenience store in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho at a bargain(Fairway for those who know the area). Aroma is floral, Sour Patch Kids (that may be the gooseberries--not sure what they smell like!), melon--all a little subdued, but still nice. Pours a hazy gold with a fast diminishing head. Leaves a little lace. Taste is almost all sweet with a touch of sour. Towards the end of the glass some bittering hops become apparant in the finish. Fairly bland, but there are some unique flavors here. I definitely taste some kind of fruit (gooseberries?), floral notes, wheat. Highly carbonated with a medium-light body. Refreshing and easy to drink.
