Medium offwhite lasting head. Clear amber body with carbonation, relatively large bubbles. Earthy caramelly nutty aroma with metallic toffee notes. Dry-sweet toffee and caramel taste with nutty earthy notes. Mid-to-light body. Mild mouthfeel. Dryish vanilla and caramel aftertaste with earthy toffee notes. Nice, drinkable, with character. (0.5l bottle, Meny Strømmen Storsenter.)

50cl bottle at Vulkan ølfestival. Pours amber with an off-white head. Lightly malty aroma with hints of caramel and pleasantly hopped. A bit sweet and caramelly with a pleasant bitterness in the finish. Refreshing and easy to drink. (2012-10-03)

500 ml clear bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.0%. Deep golden to amber colour, large white head. Strong and typical Shepherd Neame aroma of modified hops, toffee and nuts. The flavour is fairly well hopped throughout, notes of toffee and nuts again, grapefruity and medium bitter finish, becomes slightly metallic in the aftertaste. .

50cl bottle. Poured copper color with a white head, nice lacing. Malty, toffeeish aroma along with some odd unpleasant notes I can´t place. Flavor is caramel, hops and malt. Metal in finish. Not the best bitter.

Bottle from Tesco. Clear Bottle.
Appearance - Light golden brown, frothy white head, moderate lacing.
Aroma - Spicy bit earthy hop, grass. Some light-struck aroma.
Taste - Light caramel, spicy hops, some light citrus, grass.
Palate - Light body, soft carb. Finish of light bitter hop, bit of citrus and some malt.
Overall - Reasonably good flavour for 4% abv. Would be better cask and in a brown bottle.
